A Manizales institution since 1956, La Suiza is the city's most beloved bakery-café. The pandebono — warm, cheesy, perfectly golden — comes out of the oven every hour and is best eaten standing at the counter with a tinto. The tamales caldenses, wrapped in banana leaf and stuffed with chicken, potato, and hardboiled egg, are among the finest in the country. A window into the soul of paisa coffee country.

Absolutely incredible experience. One of the best places I've visited in Colombia. The atmosphere, the food, everything was perfect.
